The Origins of Craps and Bingo

The game of craps has been around for hundreds of years and sports a very old and rich history but there are many theories to the true origins of exactly when and how the game was invented. There are stories of soldiers during the Holy Roman Empire tossing pig’s knuckles that were shaved into cubes. It is also believed that the craps game was adapted from a well-known French game that was played in the Middle Ages. Bingo is believed to have been derived from an Old Italian lottery that began in the 1500’s. The game was adapted in the 1700’s by the French and spread throughout Europe in the 1800’s.

Similarities and Differences between Craps and Bingo

Whether deciding between craps or bingo? as the game to play, it is important to know that both games have slight similarities and many differences which make them each beneficial games in their own rights. Bingo is a game where the outcome is based purely on chance. The outcome of craps is also based on chance but there are beliefs that there can be some strategy or odds to throwing dice in a specific way to produce a favourable outcome. Choosing to Play Craps or Bingo

Making the decision on whether to play craps or bingo? really relies on the needs of the player. Craps is slightly more complicated to play as there are betting strategies and a number of different types of bets to consider.
